Emily Lee is the founder and principal designer of Emily Lee Interior Design. Her passion for interiors began at a young age, saving her allowance to redecorate her bedroom and spending weekends exploring estate sales and antique shops. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong dedication to thoughtful, well considered design.  

 

Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Northern Iowa. During her final semester, she studied in London, where she focused on European decorative arts, antiques, and architecture while interning with a residential interior designer. This experience continues to influence her appreciation for timeless design, craftsmanship, and layered interiors.  

 

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Emily has worked across a wide range of design disciplines, including residential remodels and new construction, hospitality, retail, corporate, and healthcare environments. This diverse background allows her to approach each project with both creativity and technical expertise.  

 

Emily’s design style is clean, organic, and eclectic, with a modern sensibility. She understands that every client and project is unique, and her approach is rooted in listening carefully, honoring her clients’ vision, and tailoring her services to meet the specific needs of each space. Her goal is not only to deliver a beautifully designed home, but to provide a seamless, thoughtful experience from start to finish.  

 

Outside of the studio, Emily enjoys being a mom, traveling, and photography. She is grateful to work with incredible clients and feels fortunate to build a career centered around creating spaces people truly love to live in.
